Parking: Bring quarters from May through October to park in lots in front of the building. Street parking is often available nearby but space can get tight between May and October.

Dining: Many choices and price points for all meals are available, especially between May and October each year. Ask your clinician for ideas if you like, but plan to make a reservation if you do not want to wait in line for dinner between May and October. You can also bring food, keep it in the refrigerator, and eat in the offices if you prefer. There is a client lounge just for this. Fast food is available on the mainland, 2 miles away. Boxed lunches can be delivered with prior notice.

Bicycling: Rental bikes are within 2 blocks of the offices and afford a lovely way to spend time.

Pets: You may bring your dog with you to the offices with prior approval, but the dog is not welcome on the beaches between May and October. There are great dog walks throughout the island.

Organized tours: The island is quiet and peaceful, without commercial activity. Mini golf, and ecologically sophisticated activities abound. There is good antiquing nearby. Cape May is a 20 minute ride, as is Wildwood, for those wanting more commercial stimulation. A shopping mall is 2 miles away.

The beaches: great beaches with guards, well organized. Requires day or week-long beach tags between June and October. Easy to purchase.Ask your clinician for details

Dress on the island: casual, easy and relaxed. Bring a sweater unless it is high summer. It is cooler, and fresher than the cities.
