Privacy Policy
Please Click Here to view our privacy policies. Confidentiality Psychotherapy sessions and psychodiagnostic assessments are confidential within the limits of legal and ethical practice. We transmit information from your sessions to outside agencies and other professionals only upon written authorization from you. Special guidelines for clients in group and family psychotherapy are discussed at the beginning of the course of treatment. Group Therapy Group psychotherapy is offered by invitation only to individuals who, in the opinion of their therapist, can benefit from such participation. Group participation is offered in addition to, not as a replacement for, individual, couples or family work. Clinical work outside of the group is scheduled with the best suited therapist. Waiting Time On occasion you may find that you have to wait for your session to begin. We hope that you will use this time to quietly reflect on issues in the upcoming session. Emergencies We are available to clients in emergency situations. If an emergency occurs, make sure to leave a voicemail message that includes telephone numbers where you can be reached. When we are away from the practice, a colleague is always available to respond in emergency situations. We are available 24 hours a day by email. Telephone Calls Telephone calls for scheduling are part of our service to you. Lengthy calls on clinical issues will be billed at the hourly rate of the clinician providing the service. Payment Payment for a service rendered is due at the time the service is provided. A staff member will provide you with a written receipt after you present your check payable to The Coché Center, LLC. Group psychotherapy is paid on the first day of each month for the month ahead. Assessments are paid in two installments: half before the time of the testing, and the other half upon completion of the test. If charges for treatment present a financial hardship, you are responsible for working out a mutually acceptable written arrangement with the therapist in advance. Scholarships are often available, based on financial need. Insurance We will submit the health care provider portion of necessary insurance forms as a courtesy to our clients, once payment is rendered in full. The Coché Center, LLC is always paid directly by the client. Remember to save receipts for both insurance and tax purposes. Cancellations There may be occasions when circumstances necessitate canceling an appointment. If you give us 48 business hours notice, there will be no charge. Failure to cancel 48 hours ahead means that you will be responsible for the full payment of the session missed. If cancellation is due to illness or an unavoidable emergency, please discuss the situation with the clinician. Directions and Parking Many of you travel far to reach us regularly.
