The Coché Center began to offer state of the art services in Clinical Psychology in 1978, with locations in Center City Philadelphia (1978-present), Stone Harbor, New Jersey (1987-1992), and Frederick, Maryland (1995-2001). These client services encompass clinical assessment and diagnosis, psychotherapy and counseling, and adult education in coupling, stress management, eating control management, and career development. Services are made affordable for clients through individualized treatment packages based on ability to pay. Training services include media interviews, academic and professional clinical training, and professional publications since 1978.
Psychological Assessment Services Include individual and couple assessments of strengths and weaknesses, intelligence and career aptitudes, and personality dynamics. Psychological reports yield diagnoses suitable for insurance and medication clarification. Psychological Treatment Services Include individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy options. Individualized treatment plans are designed for each client, couple, or family. Group Psychotherapy Services Include both brief and long-range groups for single adults and couples. Long a training center in group psychotherapy, clients travel from near and far to attend regular sessions. Group Psychotherapy is by invitation to clients suited for this approach. Weekend Courses Include a twelve-hour school for couples (see The Couples School), and individualized education in career development, eating control management, stress and anxiety management, and sexual education. Education Via Media Modalities Dedicated to bringing the best of clinical psychology to the people who can use the information, The Coché Center has long contributed to interviews in the public press. Academic and Professional Training Both formal and informal clinical training in individual psychotherapy, adult development, couples therapy, and group therapy have long been part of the services offered to individual clinicians, graduate students in mental health professions, agencies, and worldwide consultation.
