Training for students and colleagues in the mental health profession began in 1975 with a presentation in Athens, Greece. In the past twenty years, Dr. Judith Coché and staff have presented more than 300 courses and workshops for colleagues, students, for the business community, and for clients. This brochure gives basic information for organizations interested in on-site professional training.

Time

Workshops and courses vary in length from a half-day to an extended twelve hour course. Each is tailored to the needs of the client.

Supervision

Dr. Coché is a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology, and a licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is certified as a Clinical Supervisor in Family and Couples Psychotherapy from the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and is a Certified Group Psychotherapist. She is a Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association and of the Human Services Center of the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists. She has done psychotherapy and clinical supervision with male and female psychotherapists for over twenty five years.

The Flavor of Learning

Multi-level learning enables the workshop participant to learn simultaneously at cognitive, affective, and experiential levels. A variety of didactic and experiential, verbal and nonverbal, serious and light-hearted moments create an atmosphere for change. Handouts, videotape material, demonstrations, and sharing of experience create a powerful grid for both quick insights and cemented change.

Locations Available

Workshop locations have ranged from near to far and back again. International sites have included Bermuda; Budapest, Hungary; Bonn and Wahrstein, Germany; Amsterdam, Holland; and Montreal and Toronto, Canada. In the United States, Dr. Coché has conducted workshops and training in settings as varied as Tucson, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Atlanta, Albuquerque, New York city, Chicago, Frederick (Maryland), and numerous locations in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. She travels frequently and easily, and can incorporate a workshop into pre-planned travel at the request of the host. Hosts arrange details.
